ALPFA’s 46th Annual Convention

This convention is the largest, most impressive gathering of Latino professionals and students coming together from across the United States to learn, network, mentor and develop as leaders. ALPFA inspires and motivates them to become better business leaders. It also provided key opportunities for companies to recruit talent and expand their presence in the Latino market. Latinos represent 95% of attendees; 70% professionals and 30% collegiate students.

Each year the Convention is hosted at a different state. This year, the convention will be held at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Dallas, Texas.

What is ALPFA?

Founded in 1972, the Association of Latino Professionals For America (ALPFA) is the leading organization dedicated to empowering and developing Latino men and women as leaders of character for the nation. With the goal to reach 100,000 Latino students and professionals in the next three years, ALPFA currently serves more than 48,000 Latinos through its 43 professional and 135 student chapters across the country and represents all professions. Our programs facilitate leadership development, cross-industry networking and employment opportunities in every sector of the global economy. In addition, our members have access to 50,000 paid summer internships through 200 Fortune 1000 corporate partners. We aspire to be the business partner of choice for companies seeking to hire and develop Hispanic talent and to diversify their supplier base. Latino-owned businesses have the opportunity to connect with Fortune 1000 companies and recruit Latino talent while networking with other professionals and connecting with potential partners and investors. We also promote a culture of philanthropy throughout the Latino community, encouraging our members to volunteer with and engage on behalf of local charities.
